Somehow China government keep enhancing their great firewall system, some of the district or ISP in China can&#8217;t even get through PPTP, L2TP and even OpenVPN now.<\/p>\n<p>Shadowsocks &#8211; an open-source proxy project, widely used in mainland China to circumvent Internet censorship.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Server Installation process in Linux:<br \/>\n<code>wget --no-check-certificate https:\/\/raw.githubusercontent.com\/teddysun\/shadowsocks_install\/master\/shadowsocks.sh<\/code><code><br \/>\nchmod +x shadowsocks.sh<br \/>\n.\/shadowsocks.sh 2&gt;&amp;1 | tee shadowsocks.log<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Then follow the instruction, enter the password and the port you wanna use.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Server Setup complete, now go to the client side<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Download &amp; Install the client \u00a0here https:\/\/github.com\/shadowsocks\/shadowsocks-windows\/releases<\/li>\n<li>Enter your server IP, port and the password.
